About the role

The Legal team is responsible for the product layer and APIs used by Jusbrasil’s clients and operates high-throughput systems, including processing millions of events and driving the modernization of a Python 2.7 legacy stack toward a microservices architecture.

About the role

Jusbrasil Soluções is seeking a Tech Lead to act as the technical and people leadership reference for the Legal team. The Legal team is responsible for the product layer and APIs used by Jusbrasil’s clients and operates high-throughput systems, including processing millions of events and driving the modernization of a Python 2.7 legacy stack toward a microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

Serve as the technical leader and people manager for the team
Drive modernization of the legacy Python 2.7 system toward microservices, delivering stability and maintainability
Ensure reliability, observability, and security of the platform
Manage high event throughput and load balancing while meeting processing SLAs
Lead the decommissioning of jurispec/BPO and migration of clients to Jusbrasil’s own API
Prioritize effectively in a high-volume, multi-stakeholder environment
Maintain direct technical communication with product and, when needed, with clients

Requirements

Nice to have: Location and work arrangement:

Strong Python proficiency
Current experience applying AI in software development
Experience with databases
General DevOps experience (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker)
Basic security knowledge in a penetration testing context
Experience with both monoliths and microservices
Experience with large-scale and legacy systems
Excellent communication with technical and product stakeholders
Leadership and people management experience

Previous proven track record as a technical reference and as a people manager
