Position: Youth Services Program Manager, Part-Time, on-site at Main Campus, Jacksonville, Florida. This role oversees year-round programs for children in kindergarten through high school, including after-school care, winter/spring/summer camps, enrichment classes, social activities, sports programs, and agency-wide initiatives. The manager provides supervision and leadership to ensure efficient department operations and program quality; evenings and weekends are required as programs dictate. Responsibilities include developing engaging activities and lesson plans, coordinating transportation for after-school programs, supervising staff and maintaining proper staff-to-child ratios, keeping the program space safe, clean, and welcoming, and collaborating with other departments to optimize space and program delivery. The position also involves professional communication with parents and participants, adherence to JCA policies, modeling professional conduct, building relationships with members and community supporters, supporting marketing efforts to grow attendance, and completing required paperwork (program planners, budgets, purchase orders, communications). It ensures compliance with the Florida Department of Children and Families and other authorities, fosters Jewish awareness and culture where appropriate, orients new staff, and provides ongoing supervision. Occasional off-site travel to vendors may be necessary; weekend and evening work is expected.
