The successful candidate will lead a portfolio of transmission-focused engineering design projects and support marketing and business development goals within our power delivery service group. Responsibilities include: Leading projects in utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing; managing the engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects from 34.5 kV to 500 kV; preparing scope and estimates for proposals and statements of qualifications to utility clients; developing project work plans and budgets and deploying staff accordingly; reviewing and acting on business metrics such as backlog, work in process, accounts receivable, work bookings, and revenue; developing schedules, milestones, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery; providing guidance for professional communication with internal and external stakeholders; coordinating internal/external design reviews and collaborating on policy/procedure improvements; maintaining strong client relationships and pursuing opportunities with potential clients; coordinating with other departments on company-wide initiatives; mentoring and leading engineers and technicians to maintain quality and reliability.
