Icarus is building solar-powered aircraft that fly at 60,000 ft and are designed to deliver persistent, affordable, and scalable presence from the stratosphere. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle recruiting for engineering and manufacturing roles, from intake through close. You will source creatively to build a deep pipeline, identifying talent from aerospace, robotics, and hardware companies, and guide candidates through the process. Partner with hiring managers to define what strong looks like, build scorecards and interview loops, and manage the funnel while tracking KPIs to identify bottlenecks and optimize. You will close exceptional engineers against offers from larger, better-capitalized companies by effectively communicating our mission. Develop a deep understanding of our products to credibly engage engineers. As our first dedicated recruiter, you will help shape and scale the recruiting function.
