Lehigh Valley Companion Care Homes is seeking a motivated Team Lead to supervise staff at one of our group homes in Coplay, Pennsylvania. This on-site, full-time role provides leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Responsibilities include setting clear objectives and roles, communicating expectations, directing daily care operations, providing hands-on support to staff, maintaining documentation and reviews, monitoring behavior support plans and medication logs, and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. The Team Lead will supervise and train direct care staff, manage scheduling and performance, coordinate with other team leads and management, and act as a liaison with individuals, families, and external stakeholders. After-hours on-call coverage is part of the rotation, and there is one Friday office day for pre-filling medical appointments and performance updates. Qualifications include a minimum of two years in a group home or similar setting with supervisory experience, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts. Minimum requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, one year of experience with people with developmental disabilities, ability to lift 20–50 lbs, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and on-call availability.
