Crick site is recruiting a Stock Controller on a full-time permanent basis. This role reports to the Stock and Systems Manager and will play a vital role in maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse. Working hours are 4 on/4 off from 6:00 to 18:00. Salary: £13.96 per hour. Key duties include liaising with management and operational staff to ensure the accuracy of received and dispatched loads and amend/rework accordingly; working with the Receipt and Despatch Team to manage the pallet problem area; accurately amend pick faces to maintain stock integrity and completing all checks first; managing the Hold and Release process; assisting in the management of the pallet database; fully investigating and reporting all short shipments; preparing daily and weekly reports; assisting Stock Management with investigations; and undertaking additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control and sample handling. Qualifications: previous stock controller experience is essential; flexibility to cover all areas of stock department functionality; high attention to detail; ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets; team player who can also work on own initiative; in-depth knowledge of on-site systems; excellent communication skills; ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines; excellent investigative and problem-solving skills.
