Planet is seeking a Solutions Architect I to work with customers to understand their challenges and design robust geospatial solutions using Planet’s technologies. In this full-time, hybrid Berlin-based role, you will apply remote sensing, geospatial analytics, and AI/machine learning to architect and pilot solutions, lead technical efforts within Agile teams, and collaborate with product, sales, and engineering units to support customer success and value delivery. The candidate should have 4+ years in a technical geospatial or remote sensing role, a degree in GIS or a related field, strong Python for geospatial processing, experience with GIS software like QGIS or ArcGIS, cloud experience (GCP, AWS, Azure), and familiarity with modern web mapping tools and data pipelines. Experience with ML on geospatial data and knowledge of JavaScript mapping libraries would be advantageous.
