The Platform team designs, builds, and maintains backend services and APIs, including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust public and internal APIs (e.g., Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking) that meet business needs and scale with the product. You will oversee the full backend API landscape, optimize performance and maintainability, and collaborate on B2B solutions to address enterprise customization and integration needs. You will work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience. Ideal candidates have proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js, direct experience with Google Cloud Platform and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers.
