You will own end-to-end backend data processing from source systems through validation to production databases, including monitoring, operational efficiency, and incident response. The role emphasizes backend architecture, mentoring less experienced engineers, and delivering scalable, testable, and observable processing pipelines. You will work with relational databases, functional programming concepts, and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), designing schemas and SQL objects, and collaborating with software engineers, data operations, product managers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
