NS2 Mission is seeking an Expert Software Developer to lead the design and development of scalable enterprise software, modern data services, and cloud-based solutions for a prime Intelligence Community program. This on-site role is located in Chantilly, Virginia, United States. Working within an Agile environment, you will architect complex software solutions, develop data processing capabilities with Apache Spark, and integrate enterprise applications using Python, Java, AWS, and distributed technologies. You will lead API design, build scalable RESTful services, and optimize performance, while contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps initiatives. Responsibilities include guiding software design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning, and collaborating with mission stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative solutions. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, about 10+ years of professional software development experience, expert proficiency in Python and Java, experience with RESTful APIs, AWS, Spark, and Elasticsearch, strong OO design and distributed systems knowledge, and experience in Agile environments. Preferred qualifications include microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, relational and NoSQL databases, and event-driven messaging with Kafka or RabbitMQ.
