Senior Test Engineer for iRealisatie, the software development arm of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS). You will work on the PGB 2.0 program to improve the test strategy and ensure the quality of a critical public-sector care application. Responsibilities include developing risk-based test scenarios, analyzing requirements, and setting up functional, system and integration tests. You will develop and maintain automated tests and perform frontend, backend, and integration testing, including accessibility testing where applicable. You will coach testers within the team and advise on quality improvements throughout the development cycle. You will collaborate with developers, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to drive continuous quality improvements and ensure a stable, high-quality PGB 2.0 application. Location: The Hague, Netherlands. Hybrid work arrangement. Start date: 10 August 2026. Hours: 24-36 per week. Salary: €5,700-€6,900 gross per month (based on a 40-hour week). Contract: Secondment. Requirements: HBO education and at least 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer, experience with requirements analysis, Agile/Scrum, and test automation with Cucumber, SpecFlow/ReqnRoll, Cypress, Postman and SQL; experience with frontend testing and integration testing; strong analytical and communication skills; proficiency in Dutch. Nice-to-haves include experience in the healthcare sector, PGB processes, WCAG accessibility testing, Vue.js applications, experience with government projects, and complex software development projects.
