Qualifications:

Roku OS feature development and system-level integration
SoC partner collaboration, platform bring-up, and third-party API integration
Code maintenance, scalability design, and onboarding new factories
End-to-end product development, testing, and release cycles
Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance
Share AI prompts, workflows, and tooling improvements with the team
8+ years in software development; 4+ years in C/C++
Experience with Linux or Android-based embedded platforms; knowledge of Linux kernel concepts
Experience with streaming audio/video, graphics, and relevant standards
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
