The role focuses on onboarding and early-stage integration of non-integrated partners and on building scalable backend systems in a distributed microservices architecture. You will collaborate with product managers, engineering leaders, and stakeholders across the Delivery Hero Group to deliver robust solutions that support the global ecosystem. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with Java and/or Kotlin, experience designing and building scalable distributed systems, and hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers such as Kafka, SNS/SQS, or Google Pub/Sub. Observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) and strong English communication are required. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement in Barcelona.
