Contabo is seeking a full-time, permanent Senior QA Engineer (all genders) to join our team as soon as possible. We operate with a remote-first approach within Germany, with the option to work hybrid or on-site depending on proximity to one of our locations. Contabo serves 180,000+ customers worldwide across VPS, dedicated servers, object storage, and a growing cloud-native platform. Quality isn’t a bottleneck function here—it’s embedded in how we build. You’ll work across multiple development teams on products with varying architectures, maturity, and risk profiles. The scope is broad and the technical surface is real. QA means moving between contexts and solving problems, not just executing scripts against a stable codebase. You’ll come in before development starts: read the requirements, flag what’s untestable, and push back early. You own the test strategy and update it as things change—not as a document exercise, but because the products actually change. You’ll write test plans and test cases, run manual tests (functional, regression, exploratory, UAT), and build and maintain automated tests across UI, API, and integration.
