Wharton-Smith, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a Water/Wastewater background to serve the Brevard and Indian River County area in Florida. The Senior Project Manager provides leadership and strategic oversight for large, complex, or multiple construction projects, overseeing project teams and operational performance, and ensuring successful project execution, financial performance, risk management, client satisfaction, and operational excellence across assigned projects.

Key responsibilities include overseeing multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout; mentoring Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project teams; monitoring financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, cash flow, and risk management; developing and maintaining executive-level client, consultant, and industry relationships; supporting business development initiatives; resolving major project disputes, claims, and operational challenges; driving process improvement and best practices; supporting staffing, resource planning, employee development, and succession planning; monitoring schedules, procurement, staffing, quality control, and safety; providing executive-level reporting to senior leadership. Travel to project sites and regional offices is required; depending on project requirements, assignment to a project site for an extended period may be possible.
