Qred is building a leading fintech platform for small businesses, and we are looking for a Senior Java Developer to take end-to-end ownership of our backend systems powering core financial products. You will work in a cross-functional team with developers, UX designers, and product managers, designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and operating production software with autonomy. You will build secure, high-throughput backend microservices using Java and Spring, optimize data flows across PostgreSQL databases, and design efficient APIs and system logic. You will ensure high availability through robust logging, tracing, and alerting in AWS, and uphold security and compliance through best practices and thorough peer reviews. We value deep proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, AWS, and modern AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality. This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Stockholm headquarters with an office-first approach and the option to work remotely one day per week.
