Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for performing specialized financial analysis and planning to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial execution across assigned programs within GDIT’s Federal Health Division. Responsibilities include cost accounting, revenue recognition, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, EAC development, AP/AR reviews, requisition reviews, proposal pricing support, and ad hoc reporting; prepare monthly revenue, cost, and investment totals for outlooks and strategic plans in collaboration with program management; provide monthly variance analyses and risk assessments; support the monthly close process; collaborate with program management and other leaders to develop monthly financial review materials; review contract terms and manage setup and modifications in Oracle; collect, reconcile, and maintain data across multiple sources and financial systems; create and maintain financial databases and generate required reports; leverage AI tools to assist with data review, financial modeling, variance analysis, and productivity improvements; analyze contracted staff hours, revenues, and profitability and assist managers in tracking and reporting financial data; ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant government regulations, including FAR; stay current on applicable laws and procedures.
