This on-site role focuses on developing and verifying software for complex digital designs used in spaceborne products across commercial and defense programs. You will take ownership of projects from design to deployment in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and verifying embedded software and related digital designs for system-on-chip devices, interfacing with senior engineers to enable communication protocols, data handling, and system management in an ARM Cortex environment, and performing trade studies to determine which functions should be implemented in internal software versus third-party IP. You will help define embedded architecture, decide what runs on the processor versus programmable logic, maintain the code base in the company’s version control system, and develop software and hardware test fixtures to verify functionality and support bench-level validation of the final product.
