Senior Cloud Security Engineer

ecсоsio, a fast-growing B2B integration provider and part of Vertex, Inc., is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to strengthen AWS and Kubernetes security posture, implement security controls, and support threat modelling. You will identify and mitigate security issues and misconfigurations across infrastructure and microservices, support audits and compliance initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain security standards. Technologies you’ll work with include Kubernetes, AWS, ArgoCD, Helm, Terraform, HAProxy, and GitLab CI; data stores such as MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch; and monitoring with Prometheus.

Qualifications: - Several years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer, Security Engineer, or in a similar role - Strong hands-on cloud security experience, preferably in AWS - Experience with at least one programming language (Bash, Python, Go, Rust, or Java) - Experience with automation and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Terraform) - Up-to-date knowledge of modern cybersecurity threats, risk assessment techniques, security best practices, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts such as scalability, automation, and security to different audiences
