Rooms Controller position at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal is an on-site role based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Rooms Controller is responsible for guest check-in and check-out, pre-registration, room assignments, and coordinating changes to meet guest preferences. You will review reservations and accommodate changes, verify rates, document exceptions, and ensure accurate billing. You will activate keys, secure payments, monitor room status, and communicate with the appropriate departments to ensure guest satisfaction. You will handle guest requests professionally, assist guests with disabilities, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. You will answer phones with proper etiquette, prepare written documents, and work with computers/POS systems. This role requires standing or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed. Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: Less than 1 year in related work. No supervisory experience. No licenses or certifications required.
