The successful candidate will have 8+ years of civil engineering design and project management experience, and will lead complex projects, manage budgets and schedules, oversee technical aspects, mentor staff, and drive business development. Responsibilities include: manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable manner; oversee technical aspects; supervise engineers and technical staff; develop work plans and budgets; monitor metrics such as utilization, backlog, and receivables; prepare and coordinate schedules; track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery; complete monthly project accounting and invoicing; implement QA/QC procedures; participate in contract bidding; provide limited observation during construction; review submittals and RFIs; resolve design conflicts and field issues; represent clients and the firm in meetings with governmental agencies; write proposals and participate in interviews; grow and mentor staff; build relationships with clients and partners; lead business development activities; negotiate contracts; ensure compliance with policies; lead by example.
