Apex Clean Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction phases of utility-scale renewable energy projects. This on-site role based in Charlottesville requires managing early- to mid-stage development activities, including scheduling, budgeting, stakeholder communications, constructability reviews, risk analysis, and change management across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Manage multiple renewable energy projects with competing deadlines and resources
Lead development, planning, and execution within established design requirements and timeframes
Manage contracts, client relations, and project deliverables
Oversee overall project budget and expenses to achieve margins while maintaining quality
Establish and monitor performance metrics, schedules, risk profiles, and cost performance
Coordinate third-party vendors and contracts; ensure compliance with standards and certification requirements
Manage integration with main suppliers through engineering, construction, and initial operation
Maintain steady communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Apply project management techniques and software in a fast-paced environment
Ensure high work quality and safe practices; drive compliance with company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management; MBA and/or PMP certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of engineering, construction, and/or techn
