About the role

Ad Astra is seeking a Program Manager, Insights & Advising Services to join our on-site team in Overland Park, Kansas, United States. This role coordinates and supports the company’s work to help colleges and universities improve course scheduling, reduce time to degree, and advance student success. You will oversee day-to-day program operations across multiple service lines, serving as a liaison between team leadership, contract consultants, internal partners, and participating institutions.

Responsibilities include managing timelines, deliverables, and coordination across concurrent client engagements—covering technical assistance, benchmarking cohorts, consulting engagements, and workshop delivery—while ensuring on-time delivery and quality. You will monitor financial performance and revenue recognition, escalate margin and capacity risks, and maintain relationships with system offices, coordinating multi-institution cohorts and system-sponsored initiatives. You will also manage engagement records, prepare program reports, and coordinate logistics for client convenings, both virtual and in-person. Travel to approved conferences and events as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; five+ years of program or project management experience in education; experience with project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Monday.com); experience managing project financials; experience in higher education; strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; willingness to travel periodically; familiarity with educational technology is a
