Your mission We’re seeking a Product Designer who makes decisions based on evidence. This role goes beyond handing off designs: you will design a portion of the product, define what should change, build the experiments to test it, and interpret the results yourself. If you’ve shipped a redesign but never confirmed its impact, this is the opposite experience.

You will sit within one product delivery leadership team, collaborating closely with the owner of that product area and with the engineers building it—rather than working in isolation. You’ll join a group of Product Designers across the company who operate the same way and uphold shared standards.

English is our working language. German matters here too: you will design flows that German-speaking users read.

Concretely, you will: - Design experiences that fit how people live: the product mirrors real neighborhood life; design flows and screens that feel natural for someone standing on their doorstep with one hand on their phone, not simply adding features for the sake of it. - Frame the real problem before solving it: take a vague ask, uncover the actual question, and make it explainable; a well-framed problem is half the battle. - Run the experiment and analyze honestly: design testable changes, instrument properly, and analyze outcomes with the data team, including reporting experiments that didn’t work and what you’d do differently. - Talk to neighbors: experiments reveal what happened, not necessarily what people needed; you’ll spend real time with users. - Direct AI and apply judgment where it counts
