Hilb Group is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in Hartselle, Alabama. This is an in-office position reporting to the local agency. The ideal candidate will be organized, goal-oriented, and capable of working well with a team.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

Proactively manage an assigned book of business as the primary client relationship manager, responsible for overall account servicing and maintenance.
Respond to inquiries about insurance coverages, policy changes, and general questions related to lines of business.
Handle billing, service and endorsement requests, and complete necessary paperwork.
Serve as liaison between customers and carriers to ensure a mutually beneficial relationship.
Manage renewal/expiration lists for the assigned book, review loss information, obtain updated data, process renewal applications, and negotiate renewal pricing when necessary.
Maintain knowledge of all company systems and offerings.
High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in customer service and/or sales in the property & casualty insurance industry.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively via phone or email.
Excellent listening skills and ability to identify customer needs and opportunities through question-based selling and retention techniques.
Self-directed with good decision-making and time-management skills.
Proficient PC skills; knowledge of insurance software including AMS360.
