Position: Patient Liaison (Patient Recruiter). Location: Clearwater, Florida (onsite) at Tampa Bay Medical Research. Employment Type: Full Time, Department: Operations. The Patient Liaison supports onsite patient recruitment by conducting pre-qualification, pre-screening, and scheduling activities to ensure a smooth enrollment process across multiple studies and sites. Responsibilities include evaluating eligibility through interviews and records reviews, guiding patients through enrollment, managing follow-up communications, scheduling and rescheduling visits, and tracking no-shows or DNQs. You will capture inbound physician referrals, help overcome barriers to entry (including transportation assistance and sponsor-provided supports), and keep CTMS updated with patient statuses. Other duties include creating targeted call lists, driving recruitment metrics, notifying leadership of barriers, maintaining knowledge of studies and criteria, managing patient portal leads and Refer-A-Friend campaigns, representing the company with referral partners, and participating in local outreach events. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 5 years of experience in healthcare, call center, or medical research; MA, CNA, LPN/LVN, EMT or other medical license preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
