Overview: The Maternal Program Manager facilitates and implements the hospital’s Maternal Program Plan to align with the hospital’s Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and the Texas Administrative Code requirements for Hospital Level of Care Maternal Designation. The MPM actively participates in perinatal care at the hospital.
Overview: The Maternal Program Manager facilitates and implements the hospital’s Maternal Program Plan to align with the hospital’s Quality Assessment & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and the Texas Administrative Code requirements for Hospital Level of Care Maternal Designation. The MPM actively participates in perinatal care at the hospital.
Lead the development, execution, and ongoing assessment of the Maternal Program Plan; collaborate with obstetric and neonatal leaders to ensure adherence to perinatal care standards; monitor program performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives; coordinate with hospital leadership on QAPI activities and drive cross-departmental improvements. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in perinatal bedside nursing; 3–5 years’ experience in a managerial role preferred. Texas State RN license required. Specialty or administration certifications desired. Required trainings include ACLS, BLS, NRP, and advanced fetal monitoring. Vaccination policy: Tenet complies with applicable vaccination laws. If vaccination is required for this position, you will need to show proof of full vaccination or obtain a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date. If you obtain an exemption, you will be subject to regular testing in accordance with applicable law.
