Capital One Shopping seeks a skilled Android Software Engineer to help transform our mobile experiences. You will be part of a team of makers, breakers, doers and disruptors who solve real problems for customers. As an Android-focused engineer, you will work across the mobile ecosystem, including wearables, TV, and evolving Google/Apple platforms, in a fast-paced, collaborative, and iterative environment. Our engineers operate in small, productive agile teams with modern tooling to deliver high-quality products with minimal friction.

What You’ll Do: - Develop Android client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and adhere to established engineering best practices, design guidelines and principles - Partner with Software Engineers, UX/UI, Quality Engineers, Product Owners/Analysts to deliver high performing, quality customer experiences that are engaging and purposeful - Actively participate in all team agile ceremonies, ensuring commitments are delivered on time and of the highest quality - Be an active advocate of the mobile platform through internal and external developer communities - Stay an active learner in technologies related to mobile development (Kotlin, Swift, 3rd party libraries, etc.) - Influence and contribute to group discussions and incorporate feedback from the broader team - Mentor junior to mid-level members of the team - Actively engage with developers outside the local sprint team across various disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web, etc.) - Own and lead delivery of major components and platf
