DecisionPoint is seeking a Lead Cloud Platform Engineer to design, build, and sustain the IL5 cloud platform foundation that supports a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This senior technical leadership role owns the creation and ongoing maintenance of cloud landing zones, shared services, Infrastructure-as-Code templates, deployment patterns, and enterprise cloud environments that form the backbone for all application teams. The Lead Cloud Platform Engineer ensures cloud infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and compliant with IL5, RMF, and Zero Trust cloud requirements, while enabling repeatable deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments. This position is fully remote.

Responsibilities include designing IL5-compliant cloud landing zones and enterprise environments; developing and maintaining IaC templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalents; managing shared cloud services such as networking, IAM, encryption, monitoring, logging, and DevSecOps integrations; establishing reusable deployment patterns for all application development teams; engineering secure VPC designs, cross-account architectures, segmentation, and network policy enforcement; ensuring compliance with IL5 requirements, RMF controls, Zero Trust principles, and DoD cloud security standards; overseeing platform performance, reliability, and scalability; supporting DevSecOps pipelines with cloud-ready configurations and automated deployment integration; troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure issues across networking, compute, storage,
