Based in Madison, Wisconsin, this Inside Sales position connects our outside sales team with customers and focuses on understanding our products and culture, ensuring orders are processed accurately.

Responsibilities include supporting daily sales operations at a building materials distribution center, building relationships with customers and coworkers based on trust and competence, diagnosing problems and delivering proven solutions, following up with customers to preserve relationships, supporting outside sales team members, working with long-term customers daily, finalizing and overseeing the fulfillment of customer orders, and contributing within your area of expertise to ensure high-quality, by-the-book results. You will handle detailed work quickly and accurately while supporting a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

Requirements include several years of Inside Sales and customer service experience; knowledge of roofing, mechanical, industrial, HVAC, and siding products, with construction industry experience preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); strong communication skills; detail-oriented and focused; the ability to teach the company's products and services persuasively; following established guidelines; being a team player who isn’t afraid to lead; and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to help out when needed.
