APT is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing and dynamic business. This position serves as a trusted advisor, providing coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, talent development, retention, and organizational effectiveness while also being involved in day-to-day HR execution. The HRBP helps managers build strong teams, identify and develop talent, navigate employee challenges, and improve overall workforce performance. This position will be located at our Headquarters in Cokato, MN.
What you'll do - Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness. - Provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and policy application. - Build manager capability through training, coaching, and development initiatives. - Drive talent initiatives such as onboarding, engagement, development, and retention strategies. - Partner with managers to identify current and future staffing needs. - Support departmental workforce planning and succession planning efforts. - Help develop talent pipelines and career progression plans for employees. - Conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions. - Address workplace concerns while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. - Leverage employee lifecycle data and HR analytics to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend actions that improve the employee experience and business results. - Lead retention action plan
