Aleon Metals is seeking an HR Generalist to support the management team with administrative and HR duties in Freeport, Texas. The role involves coordinating and scheduling meetings for the CEO and other leaders, preparing invoices, reports, memos, letters, presentations, and maintaining documents; greeting visitors; managing mail and file retrieval; and handling general office duties. The HR component includes recruiting and posting job openings, conducting background checks and employment verifications, coordinating onboarding for new hires, and supporting HR programs including benefits administration. The position also supports marketing activities such as planning events and creating content for the company website and social media, and assisting with branding initiatives. Qualifications include an associate's degree in business or liberal arts and at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and prioritize, excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). A background check and drug screen are required. Working conditions include the ability to push, pull, and lift up to 10 pounds; stand, sit, walk, reach and bend as needed; and wear PPE when required.
