The position collaborates with a team of leasing agents, maintenance technicians, groundskeepers, and a maintenance supervisor under the direction of the Community Manager to meet the community’s goals in the most efficient and profitable manner. Responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of the annual operating budget, processing invoices, ensuring timely bank deposits, collecting rents, and administering payroll for the community. The role emphasizes superior customer service, adherence to Fair Housing, safety policies, and Fortis Properties Management procedures. Qualifications include a two- to four-year college degree (or equivalent), 1–3 years of multi-family property management experience, proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office, strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license.
