BOLT FARM is seeking a Financial Controller to own the integrity of the company’s books across all entities, delivering accurate, timely financial statements, robust cash-flow forecasting, and strong internal controls to support rapid growth. This is a hands-on, builder-level finance role that will partner directly with the CEO, department leaders, banks, lenders, and external advisors to ensure clean, reconciled numbers and scalable processes. You will manage the general ledger, month-end and year-end close, intercompany and multi-entity consolidation, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance (sales, lodging, occupancy tax, 1099s, and entity filings), while building automation and dashboards with the technical team to improve reporting speed and accuracy. Responsibilities include budgeting, variance analysis, cash-flow reporting, and close discipline aimed at faster, more reliable close cycles without sacrificing accuracy. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, prior controller or senior accounting ownership of the close and financial statements, multi-entity experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage Intacct. Nice-to-haves include CPA status, hospitality/real estate experience, construction draws, lender reporting, and experience implementing or improving purchase order systems or AI-assisted reporting workflows.
