The Analyst will work on a variety of engagements and growth initiatives, gaining exposure to financial advisory and investment banking products within the real estate sector. Responsibilities include preparing and explaining historical and projected financial information; coordinating due diligence and executing M&A and capital-raising transactions; preparing confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and marketing pitches; valuing real estate companies, businesses, and assets; and assisting in the marketing and planning of engagements. Basic qualifications include an undergraduate degree with an exemplary academic record; advanced accounting, finance, financial modeling and analytical abilities; proficiency with Excel (modeling) and PowerPoint; strong interest in real estate; understanding of real estate valuation theory and methodologies; excellent verbal and written communication; independence and resourcefulness; strong work ethic and organizational skills; ability to multitask and to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
