Joby is seeking a Facilities Development Staff Project Manager to lead complex capital projects across its multi-site portfolio, including research and development, manufacturing, flight test, office, and support facilities. Operating as a senior individual contributor, you will apply deep technical and financial expertise to independently deliver high-value projects from concept through commissioning and will influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders. Responsibilities include end-to-end delivery of capital projects typically valued at $1M–$50M with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality; driving feasibility, programming, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities; resolving complex technical, financial, and schedule challenges with minimal direction; managing budgets, forecasts, change control, and executive-level reporting; leading selection and management of architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants; partnering with Workplace, Facilities Maintenance, IT, Security, EHS, and other teams to ensure operational readiness; and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, FAA/airport requirements where applicable, environmental regulations, and internal standards.
