You will build, scale, and validate predictive models, forecasting logic, and advanced analytics frameworks that drive Norwegian Cruise Line's dynamic pricing and inventory decisions. This individual contributor position bridges statistical engineering with commercial operations—translating large datasets, historical transaction patterns, and high-intent guest behavior data into clear, high-value revenue recommendations.
Key responsibilities: - Design, implement, and maintain scalable algorithms and machine learning models for booking curves, price elasticity, cancellation rates, and passenger cabin upgrades. - Build data pipelines and ETL processes to clean, aggregate, and prepare data from Snowflake, SQL, and Python. - Calibrate and evaluate RMS thresholds to reduce forecast variances and automate workflows. - Conduct A/B testing and attribution to quantify revenue impacts of promotions and pricing optimizations. - Create BI dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to communicate results to stakeholders. - Collaborate with IT and data engineering to productionize prototypes and communicate results to non-technical partners.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; MS preferred. - 3–5 years of experience as a data scientist or quantitative analyst in pricing/forecasting. - Experience with large datasets in cloud environments (Snowflake, Databricks) and Python/SQL. - Proficiency in data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) and ML frameworks (sc
