Data Product Owner required to bridge client stakeholders and delivery teams on data programmes/projects, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered in line with Agile delivery principles. This role combines analytical thinking, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on collaboration within a data and analytics-focused development team and client.
Key Responsibilities: - Requirements Management: Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria by breaking down Epics for integration and reporting use cases; lead feature and data product kickoffs; facilitate estimation and story readiness; collaborate with developers and testers to validate done stories; partner with technical leads and client SMEs to ensure requirements are accurate, complete, and technically feasible. - Backlog Management: Support client in prioritizing product backlog; conduct backlog refinement; ensure stories meet definition of ready; track backlog health and sprint progress using Jira or similar tools; identify and escalate risks; maintain visibility of dependencies. - Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison; support alignment and sign-offs; work with Account Managers, Program and Project Managers, Tech Leads, Developers and Testers to address client pain points. - Data Analysis: Support data source mapping and alignment with data catalog; create and review field mappings; understand data reconciliation, data quality, and transformation rules within the medallion architecture. - Agile Process Support: Facilitate Agile ceremonies; support story validation and sign-off; m
