Southeast Elevator is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the finance organization. This leadership role oversees accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and the financial integration of acquisitions, while driving process improvements and NetSuite ERP optimization. The position is hybrid and based in our Winter Park, Florida office, with responsibilities spanning multiple entities across the Southeastern United States.

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end and year-end close processes for multiple entities, ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting.
Prepare monthly financial reporting for senior management with analysis of drivers of results.
Manage intercompany accounting, journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidations.
Develop and enhance financial reporting tools, dashboards, and analyses to support strategic decisions.
Continuously assess systems and workflows; lead cross-functional implementation projects.
Lead the optimization of the NetSuite ERP platform to improve workflow efficiency and automation.
Lead budgeting, partnering with executives to ensure budgets reflect strategic objectives.
Lead the financial integration of acquisitions, including data mapping and system conversions.
Coordinate annual audits and manage auditor relationships; ensure timely documentation and compliance.
Oversee tax filings and regulatory compliance; maintain internal controls and policies.
Establish, maintain, and monitor internal controls to mitigate risk and ensure ongoing compliance.
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting personnel.
