Benchmark Utility Services is a design-build, site and underground utility construction firm with over 10 years of experience delivering more than 500 projects in the United States. The Construction Project Manager (PM) leads utility construction projects from planning through completion in a design-build environment. The PM will manage project schedules, budgets, resources, subcontractors, vendors, and client communications, working closely with superintendents, field teams, and support staff to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, in alignment with company standards and client expectations. Key responsibilities include leading full lifecycle project execution, developing and maintaining schedules, tracking costs and forecasting financial performance, and overseeing procurement and contract compliance with subcontractors and vendors. The PM serves as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinates with field teams to allocate labor and materials, ensures quality and safety standards, maintains project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, reports), identifies risks and implements mitigation strategies, manages change orders, supports preconstruction efforts, coordinates design information flow (including BIM), leads project closeout, and mentors Assistant Project Managers and Field Engineers. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years in utility construction or heavy civil/infrastructure project management, proficiency
