This in-office position is approximately 20–25 hours per week and requires more than data entry: you will investigate discrepancies to ensure that services billed, payments received, bank deposits, remittances, and QuickBooks records align. You will manage multi-funder billing, reviewing authorizations, rates, and supporting documentation; create and maintain invoices in QuickBooks Online; track billing from submission to final payment; review remittance reports, denials, and adjustments; match payments to the correct client, program, funder, and state; monitor unpaid or underpaid claims; maintain AR and denial follow-up reports; and keep complete records to support audits. In bookkeeping and reconciliation, you will maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online, record deposits, expenses, and other transactions; complete bank and credit-card reconciliations; reconcile invoices and remittances; research missing or misclassified transactions; assist with accounts payable; support month-end closing and financial reporting; and maintain an audit trail.
