The candidate will design, program, and support controls systems for heavy industrial and manufacturing environments, with travel required (typically 25%–50%).
Responsibilities - Design and develop PLC programs using Allen-Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000) and Siemens STEP 7. - Develop FactoryTalk HMI solutions, including custom face plates, history, and alarms. - Design, program, and configure control networks (Ethernet, ProfiNet, ControlNet, DeviceNet) and drive systems (Variable Frequency Drives) across Rockwell and non-Rockwell hardware. - Review and write functional descriptions and process requirements; ensure safety control systems. - Lead control engineering efforts on large capital projects; manage scope, cost, and schedule; coordinate with clients and project teams. - Provide remote support to troubleshoot and update programs after installation. - Work with servo systems; Fanuc robotics experience is a plus but not required.
Qualifications - Minimum two-year degree in electrical technology or four-year degree in Electrical Engineering preferred. - At least three years of machine controls or packaging experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing environments. - Proficiency with ladder logic and functional block diagrams; ability to adapt to customer standards. - Strong PLC programming skills in Rockwell and Siemens environments; experience with FactoryTalk HMI. - Knowledge of saf
