We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Engineer (HMI) with a strong affinity for IT and modern visualization technologies. In this role you will operate at the intersection of automation, industrial IT and user-centric interface design, contributing to the performance, reliability and usability of our production line systems. With expertise in databases, networking and intuitive HMI concepts, you will help shape robust visualization solutions that enable smooth and efficient operations across our equipment portfolio. Responsibilities: - Develop and adapt HMI/SCADA systems for complete production lines - Build, maintain and optimize SQL databases - Design intuitive visualization concepts and process interfaces - Integrate HMI systems into existing automation and network infrastructures - Execute functional tests and perform in-house root cause analysis - Support commissioning activities at customer sites (low travel required) - Prepare technical documentation and collaborate closely with automation, electrical and IT teams Qualifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field - Practical experience working with SQL databases - Solid expertise in HMI/S
