Vertiv is seeking an Associate Project Manager to lead process, tools, training, and governance for critical infrastructure and data center projects nationwide, covering thermal, power, battery, and monitoring products. This role focuses on establishing relationships and standardized procedures from pre-sales through equipment commissioning to ensure a smooth, repeatable delivery. The candidate will collaborate with the Project Management Office to define methods, develop project scopes with technical and relationship sales teams, allocate resources, and implement a RACI matrix to clarify roles and deliverables. The role requires coordination with order management, plant production, logistics, contractors, services, and warranty groups, along with regular engagement with the Site Manager to communicate schedule, budget, and scope. The successful candidate will evaluate delivery methods, manage hand-offs between functional areas, escalate issues as needed, monitor schedules on the critical path, and maintain KPI reporting while fostering a culture of safety. Qualifications include 3–5 years of project management experience, knowledge of critical infrastructure with UPS, thermal, battery, and monitoring systems as a plus, a Bachelor’s or Associate degree (MBA preferred), and PMP certification. Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Travel is expected 25–30% with variable schedules. This is an on-site position based in Lorain, Ohio
