You will assist with end-to-end project management commissions and act as the day-to-day client interface to ensure objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities include advising at the strategic level at project conception and guiding the chosen approaches to achieve the client’s objectives; establishing overall success criteria (time, cost, technical and performance parameters); planning for and managing quality, safety, health and environment considerations; establishing project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project; creating detailed project plans and advising on resource procurement; leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams; monitoring performance with KPIs and applying performance management techniques; managing change control and project finances; coordinating information flow between the team and the client through meetings and written communications; producing formal progress reports; leading client and consultant interfaces at all stages; marketing and business development, including identifying opportunities with existing and new clients, assisting with bids, and contributing to pitches; keeping project case studies, photographs and CV files up to date.
