Valiant Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for the Mansfield, Texas property. The role works closely with the Community Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the property and may serve in the Community Manager’s absence. Primary duties include assisting with advertising and leasing, showing units, screening applicants, maintaining rental data for comparable properties, and coordinating renewals. You will process applications and deposits, update availability reports, conduct credit checks and background reviews, input information into the Yardi system, and prepare lease paperwork. You will handle rent collection, issue notices, and assist with legal proceedings as needed. You will maintain resident files, respond to resident inquiries, coordinate maintenance work orders, and support the management team with various tasks while upholding company policies and Fair Housing requirements. Qualifications include Fair Housing certification or willingness to obtain, strong communication skills in English (Spanish bilingual a plus), a valid driver’s license, weekend availability, and apartment management experience preferred. Education: high school diploma or equivalent; two years of college preferred. Physical requirements include ability to sit/stand for long periods, walk the property, climb stairs, and lift up to 30 lbs. This is an on-site role at the Mansfield property.
