About the role

Area Sales Manager for Sofwave covering the Michigan and Western Ohio territory. This remote-based role allows placement in Detroit, MI or Columbus, OH. The incumbent is responsible for selling Sofwave capital equipment and achieving sales quotas, while building positive relationships with practitioners and staff. You will contribute to developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with Sofwave's positioning and messaging.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Achieve capital equipment quotas for the assigned territory. - Apply professional and ethical sales techniques to close deals. - Build product knowledge through training and competitive analysis. - Create awareness and demand for Sofwave products. - Identify prospective customers by following leads and participating in company activities. - Engage prospective customers daily through in-person and remote channels (text, calls, email, video calls, visits), providing technical and administrative product information, quotes, and closing deals. - Maintain quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations. - Communicate with internal teams to align efforts with objectives. - Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales trends; share insights as appropriate. - Negotiate contract terms and payments within company policies. - Support customer success after sale to resolve problems and provide ongoing support. - Coordinate with Sofwave Marketing to promote products and services at events, dinners, etc. - Perform other duties as assigned.
