This is an on-site, office-based Accountant - Sales & Receivables role based in Hamburg, Germany. You will independently process and post a variety of business transactions in the accounts receivable function, and you will communicate professionally with internal departments, external partners, and payment service providers. You will independently handle, analyze and resolve open items. You will actively participate in projects to continuously optimize and develop accounting processes. Qualifications include a completed apprenticeship or equivalent in accounting or a comparable commercial qualification (e.g., tax clerk, industrial clerk or office management clerk), several years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Microsoft Navision and SAP S/4HANA is an advantage), and a self-driven, structured, proactive work style with strong communication skills and good English.
