This remote role partners with the CEO, EVP of Production, and the leadership team to bring our stories to life across premium long-form projects and daily brand content. The Lead Video Editor balances hands-on editing with leadership, setting the creative standard and guiding internal editors, freelancers, motion designers, and post-production partners. Responsibilities include leading the editing process, providing actionable feedback, shaping story, pacing, and execution, stepping into the edit when needed to ensure quality and deadlines, and managing the flow of post-production work across multiple projects. The role also owns post-production workflows and file organization, ensuring projects are structured, accessible, and scalable. You will source, onboard, and manage freelance editors and partners, serve as the primary contact for post-production collaborators, and collaborate with producers, writers, and leadership to explore new formats and ideas.
