SCAYLE is seeking a Staff Platform Engineer to architect and evolve our AWS infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code (IaC). In this on-site role in Hamburg, Germany, you will design a robust, secure, and cost-efficient environment and own critical platform components running on Kubernetes, including scaling, secrets management, and core networking (VPC, ingress). You will automate and advance CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (GitLab CI, Terraform) to provide a smooth and secure path to production for all services. You will implement comprehensive observability (monitoring, alerting, and logging using Datadog, OpenSearch, and Fluentd) to guarantee 24/7 availability. You will act as an autonomous partner and expert consultant to internal development teams, driving operational excellence across the organization. Qualifications: at least 7+ years of experience as a Platform or Site Reliability Engineer; strong AWS and IaC experience; proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes; solid background with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI) and Terraform; Go (basic to intermediate); strong collaboration with agile teams.
